Hello everyone, these drawing were done on a road trip, that I took earlier in the year with one of my good friends to Southern California.

These images are from our crazy journey back home. Where we went off route, and saw some beautiful landscapes. We also stopped by the Vasquez Rocks. A rock formation I didn't even know existed. It was beautiful, another win for God, when you see something amazing like this.
If these rocks look familiar to you, that's because they are also the site of many major films and television shows like “The Lone Ranger”, “Zorro”, “Little Miss Sunshine”, “Bonanza”, “Blazing Saddles”, “Star Trek”, “24”, “The Six Million Dollar Man”, “MacGyver”, “Austin Powers”, Star Trek 11, Numbers and “The Flintstones”.
So if your ever in the Los Angeles area, stop by these amazing rock formations that were created by the San Andreas Fault.
So lets say your painting, you’ve got your headphones on,the music is booming, and your in that zone we artist escape to. Then the phone rings and as your turn to pick it up, the music stops! Your Ipod just flew into your paint water.
Believe it or not you’ve done it before, spilt paint water on something important, and yes you’ve bartered before.
What do I mean…Remember when your parents used to give you chores, like take out the garbage, do the dishes, clean the bathroom. Those chores used to get in the way of all the fun stuff you had planned with your crew. If you didn’t do them, you’d be grounded, and if you did you’d miss out on all the fun, so like any clever teenager, you used your head. Sister Zoe finished her chores hours ago. She’s chill’n now. How can you get her to do your chores? AHHH that moment right there is bartering! You tell Zoe that if she does your chores without telling, you’ll give her one of your dresses that were hands off. She makes a deal, you both get what you want.
This week I took a chance and made a barter myself, free marketing in exchange for a couple mouths free studio space at my Richmond Studio.

I think in a way I've always been a fan of Illustration. It stems from those moments in Elementary School when the librarian would turn the pages and the story began. The Illustrations in the books were alive, with spirit and energy.
These are some Illustrations I did inspired by a visit I took to New Orleans.
